Technical Services Manager – London

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee the delivery of engineering and electronic security services for a prestigious site in London. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall engineering management, leading a team of professionals, and ensuring seamless service delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing third-party contractors and complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility and ownership of all engineering and electronic security service delivery for the site.
  • Lead and manage engineering teams, ensuring services meet operational and client expectations.
  • Exhibit commercial awareness, driving efficiency, profitability, and business growth.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through a customer-focused attitude, providing high-quality service and flexibility.
  • Manage budgets and ensure financial control of services, projects, and maintenance.
  • Maintain excellent communication across teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring all parties are informed of key developments.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills, inspiring teams to deliver top-tier service.
  • Manage third-party contractors, ensuring that services are performed to the highest standards and in line with contract terms.
  • Oversee Health & Safety procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Lead project management, including overseeing tenant fit-out projects and alterations.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Fabric Management.
  • Expertise in managing Alterations/Fit-out projects.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Engineering Management, with a strong understanding of engineering and electronic security service delivery.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to make business decisions and manage budgets effectively.
  • A customer-focused attitude and a flexible working style.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in Third Party/Contractor Management.
  • Knowledge and experience of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong Project Management skills, including experience with demised tenant fit-outs.
