Great opportunity for a Surveyor at the early stages of their career to join a well capitalised and expanding property investor, in Manchester! Working as part of a small but close knit team, you will be exposed to excellent opportunities across both day-to-day and strategic asset management, under the close supervision of the Property Director who is eager to share his expertise and experience.

Overview of the Role

• Working across a NW based portfolio, predominantly offices, oversee all aspects of the property management including overseeing new lettings, applications for assignment, service charge enquiries, tenant liaison, legal matters and rental disputes
• When opportunities present, explore possible surrender and regears with occupiers
• Oversee external commercial agents and agree head of terms with new tenants
• lead on rent reviews and lease renewals, appoiting and overseeing external specialists as and when required
• Work alongside the Property Director when development and investment opportunities present themselves, which might be in keeping with the companies investment strategy

Your Experience and Skills

• You will have a strong background in commercial property management and appreciation for landlord and tenant negotiations
• You will have overseen the management of service charges,and ideally , service charge contractors
• Yo uhave reached a point in your career where you are ready for the next challenge and seek more autonomy and opportunity to grow your career
• You will need to be independant and adaptable; willing to take on new responsibilities and see this as opportunity to develop within the company
