Shopping Centre Asset Manager

This strategic asset mangement position affords an excellent time to be joining a fast growing investment business with longstanding commitment to UK shopping centres. The company invests in it own centres and also manages external mandates for various clients seeking the quality of hands on professionalism that this agile team provides

Overview of the Role

• Working on a variety of assets you will take responsibility for devising and delivering the asset plan.
• You will be responsible for the leasing strategy, including working closely with agents to bring in new operators to the schemes.
• Lead on all the rent review and lease renewal negitiations, overseeing external advisers as required
• Explore surrender and regears to drive investment perfomance
• Oversee the internal propertry management team
• Assemble and produce frequent investment reports, attending investor meetings as and when required by Directors

Required skills and Experience

• We need you to have shopping centre experience as this is a small and nimble team and there is not a huge amout of bandwidth to educate you from scratch on the nuances of the sector
• Ideally you will have worked in a strategic AM capacity but we are also interested to hear from you if you are looking to develop your property management skills.
• Strong L&T and service charge knowlege is essential for you to be able to effectively manage the assets and respective advisers and teams
• A good understanding for the retail and F&B occupier markets would be advantageous
• We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded individual who will relish the opportunity to be given a great deal of autonomy and responsibility
