Where to Watch England in the Semi Final?

As the country anticipates tonight’s game with a lot of excitement, hope, and support behind the England team, venues across the UK are accommodating to make sure everyone has the space to watch the (hopefully) historic moment of England getting through to the final of the World Cup!

Unsurprisingly, London has a whole host of events being held to support the nation! There are screens at Hyde Park along with numerous F&B brands. Justin Timberlake has announced in a viral video that he will be showing the match at the O2 ahead of his concert tonight and there are several commercialisation schemes that are hosting events such as Flat Iron Square, The Zlatans pop-up at Infernos in Clapham and the ‘enchanted garden’ at Last Days of Shoreditch.

Further up North Tranmere Rovers, in conjunction with Wirral Borough Council, have arranged to show the match on a huge pitch-side 7m x 7m LED screen. The screen has been positioned so that 5,000 spectators will be able to watch the match from the comfort of their seat. The venue has also arranged for food and drink to be available throughout the game – a great way to utilise the space and maximize sales!

In Manchester alone, there are numerous events being held to celebrate and watch the match…

Castlefield Bowl just off Deansgate released 8,000 tickets which sold out in less than 30 minutes, clearly showing the demand for tickets which is not surprising since this will be England’s first World Cup semi-final since 1990! The venue has arranged pop-up food stalls and bars for guests to enjoy.

Victoria Warehouse is putting up huge indoor screens with a capacity up to 3,500 people and Albert Hall is showing the game holding up to around 2,300 people.

Opposite the Great Northern, the Impossible bar will be showing the match on screens inside and on the courtyard with people spilling out onto the amphitheater… the Great Northern tenants are bound to benefit from this increased footfall!

Whoever you are supporting, it’s great to see venues across the UK preparing and accommodating guests to enjoy the World Cup – wherever you may be watching the match, we hope you have an enjoyable evening!
